Step by step: Reconstruction from new to old
Honestly, transform completely new and modern areas into place that looks like 60’s is really hard work. I am mechanical engineer and not designer! I was sitting on the floor with open bottle, saying to myself: How I will do this? It is not possible! After second bottle of wine I was thinking that MAYBE I can do it. After third one I was screaming: I CAN DO IT! The next day, I was again at the start with thoughts: If I will remake this area I will be master.
The hardest part of this transformation was to find the old, big lamps under the ceiling. Someone maybe remember them from the old factories, however find them is almost impossible nowadays. These old factories are ruined and the new one are furnished by modern lighting with horrible design and usually made in China. Lucky me, that I have friends who have also friends. Each one tried to find these lamps and at the end we really found them! These lamps were hung at a height of 20 meters more than 30 years and nothing more than dust did not damage them. After cleaning of the dust, we could sew the original black enamel with white dots – it was beautiful! I would like to THANKS all of my friends who helped me find the old furniture.
